Hookah vs Shisha
Hookah and shisha are often used interchangeably, but they actually refer to two different things. Shisha is a type of tobacco that is typically sold in molasses form. It is smoked through a hookah pipe, which is a large water pipe with one or more hoses coming off of it. Hookah smoking originated in the Middle East, but it has become popular all over the world. To smoke shisha, the tobacco is placed inside the bowl of the hookah and then covered with foil and charcoal before being lit. The heat from the charcoal causes the tobacco to emit a flavored smoke that is inhaled through the hose. Hookah smoking is usually done in groups, as it can be a relaxation activity.
